I find it strange that politician and barrister, Sir Keir Rodney Starmer KCB KC, who has served as Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Labour Party, is being quoted as saying that he has “concerns” over Scotland’s gender recognition law because he considers 16 to be too young to decide to change gender, citing a potential impact on UK-wide equalities law.

 

However, he did stop short of backing a challenge to the Holyrood legislation, something UK ministers are considering.

 

The SNP's Westminster leader Stephen Flynn said any move to block the bill passed by MSPs would be "an outrage".

 

The Scottish government has said it will "vigorously" contest any challenge.

I would refer Sir Keir and all those north of the border who are at loggerheads over this issue to have a look at…
